No. Not in an America where Black boys get put in jail for beating up White boys in Jena, La.; where Black men get pulled over and beaten by the L.A.P.D. for speeding on the highway; where Black men in Tuskegee were injected with syphilis, an STD, by the federal government; where Black men still earn 20 percent less than their White male counterparts on average; and where Black men still have difficulty in hailing cabs in New York City – can a brother get a taxi cab?
