TV ONE CELEBRATES JANET JACKSON’S 40th BIRTHDAY WITH A “GOOD TIMES” PENNY WOODS MARATHON SATURDAY, MAY 13

On Saturday May 13^th, join TV One in saying Happy 40^th Birthday to one of the biggest entertainers in the industry, Janet Jackson (whose birthday is May 16^th). TV One will host an all-day tribute to Penny Woods, her character on Good Times.   The Good Times "Janet Jackson Birthday Bash Marathon" airs from noon - 10 PM and again from midnight to 6 AM (all times ET).

 Ms. Jackson, the youngest of the nine Jackson children, began her acting career on "Good Times," joining the cast in 1977 at the age of 11. She played Penny Woods from 1977 - 1979. The TV One "Janet Jackson Birthday Bash Marathon: will offer 16 episodes featuring Ms. Jackson as Penny Woods.
