I just wanted to let you know that I love your programming! I live in El Paso, Texas, where blacks make up less than 4 percent of the population, and often feel like I’m on the outside of the African-American culture looking in... I also love your original programming that doesn’t just “colorize” other network shows, but they are truly fresh and new with a splash of African-American flair. I stumbled across your channel just a few weeks ago, and so far I have enjoyed watching “Turn Up the Heat” and “Makeover Manor,” and it has been a blast catching up with “Martin.” I am very impressed with the “classic” movie titles I have seen in the guide, and I can’t wait to watch more and more of your shows.

I was recently watching televison and happened upon G. Garvin's Turn up the Heat. It was the seafood crazy episode, and I found it to be both a very entertaining and informative show. I am from baltimore so I could really appreciate the crab cakes that he was preparing. Needless to say I've been watching ever since.

Recently, I was going through the channels on my dish and came across this wonderful station that represents people of color...
Thanks TV One for putting the color back into television.

Finally! A network that presents African Americans positively! It was such a great pleasure to find TV One on my digital cable network. The shows are high quality (I especially like G. Garvin's style and Donna Richardson) and my parents (in their 60's) can watch along with me without such a heaviness of "hip-hop" and "gangsta" videos and dialogue.
I commend you for presenting our culture positively and having a network of quality and true substance. Thank you!

I can't tell you how much G. has inspired me to cook. Until I started watching him, I was completely hopeless in the kitchen. I want to thank him for making cooking cool, simple and "down-home" delicious.

I love your programming.... You have shown a good variety of movies, but there are so many more Black movies and documentaries we would like to see.
Also unfortunately many of my cable network neighbors cannot get your station. I always talk about the station. Will you expand your viewing audiences to other networks? Thanks again
TV One: Thanks Madeline. Absolutely! TV One's sales team is working everyday to bring TV One into more homes. We encourage all of our viewers to contact their local cable provider and request TV One (visit Get TV One for assistance). The more requests, the faster we can bring TV One home to the African American community.
