Our History Month |
As part of Our History Month, TV One’s Live the Dream essay contest gives high school seniors nationwide the opportunity to share their reflections on Dr. King’s Dream for a chance to win a $2,500 scholarship for continuing education. |
Martin Luther King, Jr. left a legacy of hope and vision of equality for all people. TV One’s celebration of Our History Month is the perfect time to reflect on the state of Dr. King’s Dream in 2008.
TV One invites high school seniors to view the special,“MLK: A Dream Deferred”, and write an essay that answers the question, “Are we living the dream today?” |

One national grand prize winner will receive a $2,500 scholarship for his or her outstanding essay.
High school seniors in participating cable markets will automatically be entered to win a $500 local scholarship.
