Bill Bellamy

Staying busy is not a problem for Bill Bellamy, host of TV One’s new comedy show, “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?” His flourishing career has successfully encompassed the worlds of feature film, television and comedy.

Some of his film credits include starring with Vivica A. Fox in “Getting Played,” the hit comedy “The Brothers” opposite D.L. Hughley, Shemar Moore and Morris Chestnut and “Any Given Sunday” with Jamie Foxx. But Bill made his big screen debut in “Love Jones” starring opposite Nia Long and Larenz Tate.

Prior to his movie career, Bill hosted "MTV Jamz" for five years, where he interviewed some of the hottest hip-hop and R&B music talents of the time.

Bill got his start in show biz while at Rutgers University, where he showcased a hidden talent – comedy – at a school event. After that, he went on to win numerous amateur competitions and made his national television debut on “Showtime at the Apollo.” Soon after, producers Bernie Brillstein and Russell Simmons signed him on to appear on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” and the rest, as they say, is history.
