Roland was outstanding. President Obama did not duck and dodge the jobs issue or the race issue. Folk, we must get our congress people off their butt and obtain the resources we deserve and stop the crap of only enriching them and their friends/croonies.......and stop blaming Pres. Obama. Just my 2 cents. Thanks Roland.

Are folks just figuring out that this is how most white folks think? Those republicans are making a big deal out of noootthing. And for the fool Blacks that are going crazy, it's been like this for all time. Just because we have a Black President doesn't mean they'll look at us any other way. Until we see ourselves a different way. And that hasn't happened yet. Speakin as a 16 year old i see it EVERYDAY!

The bottom line is that Harry Reid stated what most whites think. That's typical "good ol' boy" (whitemen) backroom talk.We blacks know this and it's gonna continue forever. What should we do about it?Politically, nothing. We need the 60 vote majority to advance our cause.Harry will be delt with in do time.In the mean time, lets be smart and don't allow the Republicans to expoit this issue and divide us because to do so would be to defeat us.

I think Obama dealt with this issue the correct way and to move on to the things, he has some power over. No one has power over what others say or think. What was said can be construed as racial, if looked at in the historic sense of racial stereotyping. Was it intended as a premeditated racial slur? Only Harry Reid can answer that. All said and done, it serves as a reminder to many, as to how far America still has to go to shake off its racial baggage.
