I would love to see some information about Jean Terrell who replaced Diana Ross with the Supremes. They had several hits like "Up the Ladder to the Roof".."Stone Love", "Nathan Jones". She did a solo project which I loved called "I Had to Fall In Love"...but that was all I heard from her. It was not a commercial success, but I fell in love with her smooth voice. Also, I would love to know something about Keith Barrow's career. He had one hit with "You Know You Want to be Loved".....

i have really been enjoyin the show unsung. i know i am probably too late to make a suggestion but i would like to suggest a story on stephanie mills. she was once a sensation. a strong voice in a small body. then all of a sudden she disappeared. just today my daughter & i were listening some of her music on youtube and wondered what ever became of her. my daughter never heard of her or her music til today. while i was listening to her music on youtube she asked me who/what was i playing. that the songs were nice and stephanie mills should be on unsung. i can agree w/her on that.

I believe the fans have spoken about who should be included on the future Unsung episodes. There are so many great artists who did not get the recognition that they should have in the music industry. Unsung is doing a great job of not only bringing awareness to all audiences, but in a lot of cases setting the record straight with these great stories. thanks TV One for the Unsung tribute to Sylvester. He was a legend. I remember being at the live taping at the Opera House in 1979. It freaked me out to be at an event with so many gay people. I asked the record company to sit me with Two Tons of Fun's parents. LOL. We have come along way thanks in part to people like Sylvester. Keep up the good work. OMG he was the best singer in the group and I've read he's fallen on some hard times. This man could swoon WOMEN in ways we're not allow to discuss online....YA FEEL ME!!! I'd love to see the story on The Persuaders..you know the group that sang the chart topping 1970's song "Thin Line Between Love & Hate". Whatever happened to them? This to me was one of the best well put together song of the 70's, but they just disappeared from the music industry without a trace?! Are they alright? Are they doing well, even though they're no longer in the industry? What's happened to them? UNSUNG we'd love to know if at all possible! Thank you!

The unsung tve show really goes in depth of our favorite artists. I appreciate getting to know their personal struggles. It makes me appreciate all their hard work and efforts more. Well done TV One! Telling Sylvester's story via video is long overdue. You can only get so much from the written word. Some of the images and footage your staff came up with were amazing. Thank you all for giving him, his life, and career the recognition it so deserves. One piece of trivia you missed that should have been told; On September 20, 2004 Sylvester's anthem record, "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)", was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame. A year later, on September 19, 2005, Sylvester himself was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame for his achievement as an artist.

The 5 stairsteps would make a good story, they had their biggest hit "Ooh Child", never to be heard from again. What happen to them. They were known as the first family of R&b before J5, their era was late 60s, early 70s. Also the Sylvers would be a good story to for unsung. I think the Sylvers are going to do a reunion gospel album.

Please profile Billy Preston. That guy was a musical genius, but never seemed to get the recognition he deserved in life. His death was pretty much uneventful.
Would also like to see Lakeside, Cheryl Lynn, Force MD's...all of the suggestions are good. I would like to know more about Ronny Dyson, though he may not have been widely known. There is so much good music out there that has virtually disappeared.

Irene Cara, Deniece Williams, Tevin Campbell, and The Emotions would make excellent and interesting stories for the Unsing series. All superior talents that never got their proper share of the fame, fortune, or longevity that they all so deserved.

I absolutely love watching UNSUNG, and have seen every episode, a couple of times. The song 'Joyous Flame' was beautiful. There are sooo many to cover. I would even like to see a show on the rap cats Whodini and Dana Dane.

I would love to see an unsung on what some would consider the first family of R&B the "5 Stairsteps" famous for the song "Ooh Child". Also the "Sylvers" would be good to see too, those groups had a lot of inpact in the 70's but you never see bios on them because they weren't as big as superstars like the Jacksons. But they epitomized music of the 70's. Finally there is a show that talks about some of the lesser known but known groups and artists of the day. I TRULY LOVE THIS SHOW. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW. DO'NT MAKE ME DO PETITIONS TO KEEP THE SHOW ON THE AIR NOW!! THIS IS A SHOW WORTH WATCHING.

Unsung is one of the best shows...PERIOD! It is the only show that i tape on my tivo..It is a show for everyone...my kids are now getting into music from my time and are seeing what real r&b is...learning about singers and groups like Donny Hathaway, Roger Troutman,finally knowing that their generation of music are basically samples of my generation r&b music..Its letting kids know if it wasn't for our generation of music, their wouldn't be alot of rap and hop/hop music. Kudos to you TVOne for creating a music series with so many groups and singers that i hope it will be on for years and years!

I would add groups like the Masquaraders, Intruders, Blue Magic, Harold Melvin & Blue Notes, Spinners, Brenda & Tabulations, Barbra Mason, Mandril etc. I just love the show and learning about our music. I wish someone would do a story on the Prince of Soul..Sam Cooke whose death was clouded in mystery, deception and sadness. A shining light in both the Gospel and Soul music industry and also producing his own material- a true pioneer. His story needs to be told!

I was a young lad when Sylvester was in his prime. My older sister's and brother was going to the disco club's here in NJ/NY, Zanzabar, Better Day's, The Garage to name a few. I remember telling them that I could not wait to grow up so I can go too, lol. Sylvester and Two Tons of Fun's music would play throughout the house especially on Sat clean up day. These were some sining chillin and I would make believe that I was part of the group. I became such and fan and to this day still a big fan. His music will live on and I want to thank TV-One for bringing him back to us. He also made a great inpack on the gay community. I cry everytime I hear you are my friend, I miss my friend in my head. Sylvester might be gone physically but his spirit and music will live on forever.

As a lover of most music from the 70's and early 80's soul and funk era, I would like to see an episode of Unsung on Betty Wright, Tavares, and since you have an upcoming episode featuring Sylvester, how about Two Tons of Fun? I have not been disappointed with any episode thus far and don't expect to be. Thank you for the Unsungs of the past especially Phyllis and Donnie.

It has informed me of what has actually happened within the lives of quite a few of our most incredible artists; Phyllis Hyman, Donny Hathaway, Florence Ballard, Melba Moore, The Clark Sisters and Shalamar just to name a few. Often, these recording artists/performers disappeared from the limelight w/o explanation nor reason so it seemed until TVOne and Unsung helped to fill in the blanks. I look forward to more about the artists I've grown to love.

i've enjoyed the unsung episodes. i'm a fan of old school music,and the addition of knowing the inside stories of all those cool artists. in my opinion,tvone could run shows on SOS Band,Gap Band,Con Funk Shun,Brick,Slave,Dynasty,Cameo,Dazz Band...just to name a few.

unsung can talk bout alexander o'neal, cherrelle , peebles, karen white, s.o.s. band, maybe jodeci etc. i cannot wait to watch stacy lattishaw coz i always what happened to her.

I am a big fan of Unsung and I would really like to know what ever happen to Alexander O'Neal. He put out a lot of good music and a couple of duets he did with Cherelle, "Never Knew Love Like This" and Saturday Love". Those were some favorites of mine. I hope he'll be in the next lineup.

i love unsung also. i would really love to see keith sweat,lisa lisa , tevin campbell, and anypne from the 70s and 80s. i am a big ol school fan.

I love unsung and would like to see possibly, Sister Sledge, SWV, Mary Jane Girls, Appalonia 6, Bar Kays, Lakeside. LOL Thats only half. How about a where they are now of the popular Soul Train dancers like damita jo freeman?

i`m a big old school fan and i love unsung it makes you feel closer to the stars. i would love to see funk grates like cameo,bootcy,bar-kays,parliament and con-funk-shon if you could find it in you tvone old school show the funk harts i would love to see them.
