Thank you very much for airing Unsung on Minnie Riperton It brought backso many memories. She was and always will be my favorite Artist of all times. I was living in New York at the time.
When Minnie first left us I would go to La at Westwood and put Baby Breaths on her gravesite. She wore them in her hair. I will always miss her she was a sweet spirit. When Minnie Sang it was like the windows of Heaven opening.
Thank You Again TV One for remembering A sweet Angel who departed to soon.
A Minnie Riperton Fan Always

It does NOT matter how many times I watch Unsung [Minnie Riperton]--->(of course) I will always find her life n legacy a little bit more interesting. I can not say dat I feel Marc, Richard, or Mya's pain b/c I've never lost my wife or my mother but I can say that Minnie Julia Riperton was a beautiful, talented, peaceful, loving, caring person and I could go on for days even months! W/o even knowing Minnie personally, from her presence n her music I can absolutely say that I love Minnie J. Riperton. May god bless each and every one of her fans n her music that it will inspire them n we continue the wonderful legagcy!

The show on Minnie Riperton was emotionally moving. It was so beautiful. She was truly a song bird, she was amazing, words cannot describe her phenomenal talent. Thank you TV one for presenting us with such an outstanding show. Everyone I came in contact with, I wanted to know if they saw "Unsung" Sunday, because I am still moved by the experience. Her husband seems like he's a Jewel such as she. Again Thank you, I absolutely loved it.

A.S. Galloway always turns me on to special projects and the clip only makes you want to see it more! Richard and Minnie were 2 special people. Minnie left a legacy of music but breast cancer research was boosted because of our loss and a child she left brings us laughter. She created movements and still does!

Please consider Gil Scott Heron and Lonnin Liston Smith for "Unsung." My older sisters always played their music when I was young. A jazz collection of "Unsung" would be a wonderful addition as well. I LOVE MUSIC!!!

Again you did a FABuLOUS JOB!!!! I love documentaries!!! I am a history teacher and to watch the lives of others and their struggles is so inspiring. Although I am about the age of her children, her struggle with breast cancer was so interesting. Such a dynamic person, we are blessed to have such a beautiful person in our history.
My husband I were ready to watch Melba Moore's life right after. I don't know if we will be able to hold out another week.
TV one is the BEST since sliced bread!!! On another note, could you put Living Single back on the time slot with Half & Half in the early morning? That is my workout time and it is hard to walk on the treadmill to "Martin." That scheduling was so perfect.
We love you all!!!
God Bless and "Keep on Keeping On!"

Thank you TV One for featuring the story on Minnie Riperton, there wasn't a dry eye in my house yesterday. Even though, I was 5 years old when I first heard "Loving You"; I am still trying to hit those high notes to this day!. Mrs. Riperton's beauty and voice is so captivating, I am happy that you kicked off Season 2 of Unsung with the debut of her story.

Thank you TVOne for having the LOVE to feature this story on Minnie Riperton. I truly enjoyed every second of it. She is my favorite artist of all time. I cannot begin to tell you how she has positively influenced my life. So many young female artists who are singing, writing, producing, and have ownership of their own musical careers are a reflection of Minnie's legacy. Love & Thanks to her friends and especially her family for sharing so much about her in a very personal way. It is forever appreciated!!!
